The function rooms at The World are free to hire. However to ensure the smooth running of your night we have these requirements:
· The deposit should be paid as soon as possible to secure your
function booking. Your booking is confirmed only when World Bar
has received your security deposit in full.
· There is a minimum bar spend of $700 in the Tea Room (1st
floor) and a $300 security deposit. The Bordello (2nd floor)
has minimum bar spend of $2000 and a $600 deposit. If you
don't meet the minimum bar spend the balance will be taken
from your deposit.
· It is free entry for function guests on the guest list only before
10pm. Any guests arriving after this time will have to pay full
cover charge to gain entry.
· Management retains the right to close the function when they
deem fit. The Tea Room opens to the rest of the bar and World
bar DJs start playing at 11pm. The Bordello is exclusive to the
function for the whole night.
· A $75 hire charge will apply if The World Bar sound equipment is
used. A $30 charge will apply if the projector is used (visual only,
and available in the Bordello only). Any damage to the function
rooms or DJ equipment will result in loss of deposit and if the
cost to repair damages exceeds the deposit the hirer must pay
World Bar.
· As a licensed premise, patrons must be 18 years of age and
over. Appropriate ID is essential.
· Clubwear only- no thongs, shorts, football jerseys, etc.
